Fair Warning

If you want to retain your youth
don't introduce him to your friends.
This a plain and simple truth
though your refusal may offend.
You cannot trust the best of friends
not to attempt to steal your guy.
Despite the fact that they pretend
that you can trust them completely.
Though you would trust them with your brass
and even with your credit card.
But men are in different class
in which you'll find nothing is barred.
So if you want to keep your youth
believe my words they are the truth.

Ummmmmmmmmmm... i think: if he/she just "goes" with some friend or enimy, then it is because he/she never loved us and what is the use of kipping her/him?!!! It will be just to buy "5 little more moments" more?!
- on the other hand i believe that people are not "things" and they are free (or should be!) to come and go as they feel it is right for them... even if it is to go away from you...

Poeticpiers, This poem is so neat and accurate one may suspect that you have been so introduced and behaved like a cad thereafter! I confess I prove your point too. Long ago I hasten to add. This poem should be compulsory reading for all the girls who write countless poems, in the cafe, about their tattered love lives.
