Shared Confidence

My lady loves me this I know
because she often tells me so
I tell her just as frequently.
Three little words that seem to be.
the key to lasting happiness
Because we know we need not guess.
Our love's a mutuality
that's based upon equality
Every time I say" I love you"
my lady knows for sure I do
and every time that she tells me
I know it is a certainty.
If every couple did the same
There'd be more winners in life's game.

I like it, short, yet powerful. No grammar errors, every line is 8 syllables. I'm not sure I found all the rhymes (it's early and I'm doing a quick review), but the rhyme scheme used was simple and endearing. The opening of the poem was fun to read and while it seemed to lose a bit of the spirit of the first couplet as it went on, it managed to gain it back at the end. Overall I'd say this is an excellent poem and an amazing example of how 'traditional' styles of poetry are just as good as free verse and more modern styles.

I'm quite lucky I have that with my fiance.

Nicely written, short and sweet. Would be a waste of words if it was any longer. Good poem.
