Party time

The first signs of impending spring
are crocus flowers rioting
Along the verges daffodils
contemptuous of night time chills
Continue steadily to grow
in preparation for the show
The flower show that's held each year
As one by one new blooms appear.
Each has its short time in the sun
to set their seed and then begone.
A yearly exhibition
provided free for everyone.
All winter long we've had to wait
Now spring is here let's celebrate.

I like the images here, the flowers blooming. It's cheerful but it also hints at new life, hope. Nice.

Really nice images in this, very free and uplifting. Really liked the last two lines, like the cold and dark of winter is gone, lets all go have fun in the sun with the flowers.
