Perhaps it's for the best

I watched the wizard make a switch
He waved his wand became a witch

A rather clever thing to do.
I rather think that I'd like to.

Do as I saw the wizard do
Alas I do not know how to

So I must stay the way I am
I am a boy my name is Sam.

The wizard waved his wand in vain
but he could not change back again.

The wizard had become a witch
then he discovered life's a b***h

I watched it all with interest
and I decided it was best.

To refrain from wizardry
I did not think it was for me.

I shall grow up into a man
at least I'm pretty sure I can.

The wizard must remain a witch
he has forgotten how to switch.

Now his must practice witchery
instead of using wizardry.

He has forgotten what he knew
and how to change himself into.

The wizard that he used to be
and must get used to being she

but I know all I need to know
I'll take my time and simply grow.

Into the man I'm meant to be
and have no truck with wizardry.

This was a great poem. It was interesting, funny, charming and had a great rhyme scheme. It wasn't hard to follow and the language was refreshing to read. Really the only suggestion that I have is to not use 'rather' twice in the second couplet. It's a little distracting and repetitive, and since you don't repeat any other words like you do this one, it seems really out of place. Other then that minor detail, I really enjoyed reading this.

Happy Writing.
