I can and I will!!

 

I tried and failed, I tried again

I knew I had to persevere.

There is no way I can explain.

I have to finish what I start.

I am compelled I cannot quit.

Quitting is for the faint of heart.

Eventually I did succeed

Although it took a few attempts

 and forced my critics to concede.

That they were wrong and I was right.

I proved that perseverance pays

 to their surprise and my delight.

You must be certain you can win

If you are not then don’t begin.
