A Poem by Poeticpiers
"

tetrameter sonnet

"

Arranged by Dan Cupid

His voice a golden baritone

 and she sang mezzo soprano

Though each preferred to sing alone.

Somehow they were persuaded to.

Perform a classical duet

 from Romeo and Juliet.

Their voices blended perfectly

 as they performed exquisitely.

A triumph they did not expect

 creating a whole new aspect.

They had not thought about before

Something new they could explore.

To stay in close proximity

could well lead on to matrimony.
