Third time lucky

The second Mrs Tanqueray

was fond of caviar they say.

She ate so much that she grew fat

and she exploded one fine day.

I might be true but I can’t say.

Her husband said I’m not too sad

To tell the truth I’m rather glad.

She should have curbed her appetite

but she would not I wish she had.

Time has proved that I was right.

What can’t be cured must be endured I

I’m glad I had her well insured

I can start looking right away.

I’m sure success can be assured

For one more Mrs Tanqueray.

That brings my story to an end.

Its good to know you can depend

On a fat wallet to attract

the kind of ladies that I tend

to fancy most and that is fact.
