Reality is hard to bear

 

How very sad, life’s so unfair.

It is no different anywhere.

It is the same the whole world round.

 There is no fairness to be found.

How very sad.

Nobody seems to really care

or just perhaps they do not dare

 complain because it might rebound.

How very sad.

Some have no sympathy to spare.

They seem completely unaware.

that gross injustices abound.

If they but choose to look around

 at home, at work or anywhere.

How very sad.
