Blinded by science

Australian Sonnet.

Australian aborigines.

Don’t see the world as white men do.

They have a different point of view.

They find their way unerringly.

Through trackless waste lands baking hot.

They seem to know instinctively

Exactly where they ought to be

when heading for some sacred spot.

Just how they know a mystery.

No white man can truly understand.

The aborigines know their land.

The can see signs we cannot see.

Because we are too civilised.

The subtle signs aren’t recognised.

Very nicely written. I've never written an Australian Sonnet - just Spenserian, Keats and a couple others.
