Night prowlers forM'Lady CattieA Poem by Poeticpiersfun sonnetNight prowlers. The silence of the night was broken by a sound which I could not identify. Although I knew I should investigate. I hesitate and choose instead to wait. I must confess to being cowardly, But them my conscience bothers me. I have no choice I have to go and see what made the sound which awakened me. I creep downstairs very quietly Switch on all the lights so I can see. This is the sight which greeted me. The floor littered with broken pottery. The guilty cat regards me with disdain. It seems my bravery was in vain. Saturday, 08 May 2010 http:// blog.myspace.com/poeticpiers
