As it was so shall it be for M'lady EmmaA Poem by Poeticpierspoem in rhyming quatrainsAs it was so it shall be. Beneath the trees the blossoms lie in drifts as white as winter snow. It saddens me to see them die although I know it must be so. They serve their purpose then they go. Part of the life cycle of the tree. Now is the time for fruit to grow. With luck it will abundantly. The fruit will ripen in the sun but their time too is limited. In Autumn when the summers done they will be gladly harvested The trees will then shed all their leaves. Preparing for their winter rest. The earth is ready to receive the fallen leaves. It’s for the best. They will decay and feed the tree. Returning all the nutriments nature recycles constantly She has fulfilled her prime intent. Providing seed which may take root allowing other trees to grow. Which in their turn will bear ripe fruit as seasons come and seasons go. Sunday, 16 May 2010 http:// blog.myspace.com/poeticpiers © 2010 Poeticpiers |
