Value for money

Value for money

A Poem by Poeticpiers
"

silly sonnet

"

Value for money.

I will decide my mode of dress.

I will not be dictated to.

The latest fashions don’t impress.

I have more sense than some folks do.

I dress to suit my shape and size.

To make the best of what I’ve got

I don’t see brand names as a prize.

In fact I do not care a jot.

What other people think of me.

They are entitled to their view.

But I insist that I am free

to dress the way that I choose to.

Designer labels don’t impress.

I can dress smartly for much less.

Ahh, but how will you know 'who' you are if you don't have some lable attached to the outside of your clothing!....what's more, how will anyone be able to recognise you in amongst the crowd of all-so-rans.
Deary me....no lable! gosh, next thing you know you'll be wanting milk in your tea! lol

A much appreciated write that I'm sure many will agree with. Thanks for posting.
