Against the Odds.

 

The best laid plans can go awry.

If fate decides to take a hand.

Your cherished dream left high and dry

for reasons you can’t understand.

Some just give up accept defeat

 they dare not choose to start again.

Press forward always don’t retreat

 and prove yourself a better man.

Than  those who quit, as some will do.

They just surrender to despair

 Others will show what they can do.

They will win through because they dare.

to try again against the odds.

And thus win favour from the Gods.
