Sea Change for M'lady Emma.

Sea Change for M'lady Emma.

Sea Change.

The gentle waves that roll ashore

 and tickle little children’s toes.

In summer time.

Are different from the waves that roar

defiance to the gales that blow

 In wintertime.

No reason we should find it strange.

We know the sea can quickly change

 at any time.

The sea can be both wild and tame.

It cannot always be the same

all of the time.

The daily tides which ebb and flow

allow the waves to come and go

 In their own time.

In winter, summer, spring and fall.

The sea encompasses them all.

Ignoring time.

The gentle waves that roll ashore

and tickle little children’s toes.

My favourite time.
