Starless night.

Starless night.

A Poem by Poeticpiers

Starless night.

The street lights sullen orange glow.

Casts moving shadows as I pass.

I am aware of them; Although

as mere reflections in the glass

of the shop windows in the street.

They have no substance weight or mass

and yet somehow they seem complete.

Without the sullen orange glow.

Do they exist ?I do not know.

I merely record what I see.

Wonderful poem with great meter and rhyme. Loved it.

they are as complete as you sir...it's like when a tree falls in a faraway forrest and you not see it fall...has it, in fact, fallen? yes, it has...and your shadows shall only cease when you cease to be...inspirational...
