Dreams fulfilled

Lai nouveau

Dreams can come true.

Not all; but some few

Must do

Mine did I met you.

Started life anew.

With you.

I know you dreamt too.

You were bound to do.

You knew

I was meant for you.

That I would be true

 to you.

We were meant to be

 in close harmony.

We two.

Anyone can see

 you are part of me.

It’s true.

I was fancy free

you knew I should be

with you.

Married happily.

Our dreams came true.

 Some do.

I love the form; I love the content; Suffice it to say, I love the poem! (And know the truth of it.) ;)

love pays no attention to age and late blooming love is the best of all

It's amazing how age manipulates the effect of one's thoughts-- even those that're termed to never be changed forever. Shelley (Who's of course was and is the best of romantics), grew a pale, cold-eye towards life and love, towards the end of his life (Which sadly was in a young age of 30!).

I love the

"Our dreams came true.
Some do."

connotation. It's so cool to have irony and oxymoron is such few words.

Keep writing.
