Beneath the sea lie hopes of peace.

The Dragons dream of flying free. Imprisoned deep below the sea

Where they’re confined beneath the sea, because they sinned

No longer free to ride the wind.

In days of old when dragons flew .They did just what they wanted to.

Although they knew they should obey they chose to go their own sweet way.

Instead of doing as they should. They rebelled because they could.

They had no fear of punishment and saw no reason to repent.

Until they found themselves confined in deep dark caves which were designed.

To teach them there’s a price to pay for refusing to obey.

Confined in caves beneath the sea.The dragons dream of being free.

Perhaps one day they’ll be released. Become the guardians of peace.

Which they were always meant to be and do their duty willingly

But not until the recognise that dragons do not rule the skies

We all have duties we must do and that applies to dragons too.

One day the dragons will be freed to monitor the peace we need.

While Dragons dream beneath the sea. Men will wage war constantly.

Yeah, nice write.
Obey is one of those obsolete words..unless used with regard to a dog. Its long been cut from the vows as being outdated and history has proved that those who believe in it, are out to destroy. hitler demonstrated the destructive powers of obeying....very ugly indeed. 'Obey' has no place in modern society but is ok when used in a fantasy write such as you have here but in saying that, the write leaves a coldness due to its use.
