Here endeth the lesson

Here endeth the lesson

I asked the young man politely

To moderate his language;please.

But he ignored my quiet plea.

Mouthing foul obscenities

I chose to repeat my request.

To which he made a rude reply

He had to put it to the test

He thought he was a real tough guy

Armoured in his arrogance.

He thought that he could bully me

He did not know he stood no chance

against my knowledge of Karate.

It had to be; he had to learn

As bullies all do in their turn.
