I.O.U.

Ivorian Sonnet.

By night the moon will light our way.

The Sun providing light by day.

Without a light we cannot see

and stumble blindly in the dark

To get to where we want to be.

Though other senses may assist.

It is our eyes we use the most.

When night or darkness will persist,

then we discover we are lost.

We need a sign that we can see.

A beacon which will show the way.

A certain symbol that will mark.

Our passage through the mirk and mist

for which we’ll gladly pay the cost.

I am often taken a back when reading you work. This is a great example of just what I mean. These are the lines to a song taht I feel need to be put to music. It is alureing and yet you have to stand back away in order to get the full flavor of the rhyme. I love the way you think out things that seem natural. I again feel that this is an un-arranged thought pattern that you see before you write. It is none the less wonderful.
