Flagrant Exhibitionists For M'lady Emma

Flagrant Exhibitionists.

Deep purple Iris’ rioting

Beside a gently flowing stream.

Neglected yet still flourishing.

Part of a long abandoned dream.

The Gardener grew old and died

before she made her dream come true

Her dream remains unsatisfied.

Yet still the purple Iris Grew.

Though dreamers die their dreams live on

 until they are adopted by

By somebody else; Perhaps someone

who’s not prepared to let dreams die.

They flaunt their beauty shamelessly.

Purple clad Imperially.

You are becoming a man of many seasons. This is a wonderful ode about a flower which I know grows anywhere that it is not suposed to grow. I love the last two lines. Great work!
