Fiat Lux

Fiat Lux

Fiat Lux.

When morning breaks the spell of night.

The eastern sky is tinted red.

The sun will rise to show his might.

Before his power the shadows fled.

He will traverse from east to west.

His daily duty to pursue.

When day is done then he will rest.

‘neath western skies of rosy hue.

Quite soon the silver moon will rise

and bathe the world with gentle light

Selina goddess of the skies

relieves the darkness of the night.

The moon reflects her consorts light.

To guide our travel through the night.
