Advice I can do without

Advice I can do without

A Poem by Poeticpiers
"

Silly sonnet

"

Advice that I can do without.

The parson thinks I am possessed,

My shrink is sure I am obsessed.

Though I am not at all impressed

By the views they boldly state

Because I don’t appreciate

Their rather biased points of view

I don’t think they’re entitled to

Decide that I am not quite sane.

Because I fell in love again

All that I need is T.L.C

Which your love provides for me.

The parson and the shrink don’t know

Their backsides from their left elbow.
