For the Best

Through the darkness, I started seeing a ray of hope

What once was there is now gone
What I thought I felt was wrong
And though it will be hard for me,
I must learn to move on
This journey has been my roughest yet,
my past is defined but my future not set
He who caused me pain is not he,
who had begun to make me feel free
I see the pictures and keep to feel less,
I know this has been...and will be...
     for the best
