Bitter

Written at 5pm on 3/12/13. I was feeling depressed, and seeing someone on Facebook (who I've written about before) keep living their life without me made me feel unwanted and bitter.

Go ahead and leave me
Abandon my soul
It's happened before

I'm not the first choice
I never am
I've learned to not expect it

Ignore that I'm sad
What does it matter it's because of you?
You  have your own life

I know I sound bitter
I'm depressed
Not completely your fault

You gave me hope
Influenced my dreams
And dropped me like a rock

Whatever
I'll move on
It's time

Author's Note

I sound so immature and selfish in this poem, please forgive me. I was in a bad place when I wrote it; a place I hadn't been to in a long time.
