Leaving Me

Written 2/25/14. I'm hitting a bit of an emotional rut with some people.

Why are people leaving me?

I just don't understand

I'm giving them attention and love

I'm giving them what I can

The one who seemed a good friend

Beloved by everyone

Has completely shut me out

Tell me, what is it I have done?

The one who's there for everything

Has sent me out the door

She was my best friend

Ans that's not what friends are for

What am I doing wrong?

Tell me so I can see

I need to start to fix my flaws

To be who I want to be

I try to be loyal

I try to care

But I guess I have to accept

That you don't want me there

I certainly hope there are others

Who do not act like you

Because there is only so much

I can let myself go through
