I was waiting for the rain to stop

But I was left to drown alone

Through those heavy clouds

a ray of sun was shone

My heart lay still in my chest

But somehow found a beat

The day you came along

a resuscitation so sweet

Something awoke inside of me

a hope that is sincere

What had felt irreparable
