Hominine

Hominine

A Poem by Poetic Nuance

Oiled to meet perfection,
Both young and old brandish me,
I am  the defender of nations
And also Terror's glee.
At the press of a finger
I spew forth my venom
On my staccato does death linger,
Partnered by anguish and mayhem.
I have spawned bloody revolutions
For Evil, I have been friend
For the meek I offer salvation
For the good I have been fiend.
I have scored up on the innocent
Been the ender of innocence too,
To many I have been God-sent
And rallied many a Coup.
I am the nature of the wielder,
But never Heaven's Dove
I inspire both awe and fear
I am the mighty Kalashnikov.
