Earthly woman

Masses princess is princess Di. After seeing her burial on TV I went out for a walk and saw a rare sight in the sky.

Between the wilderness ran
a stream by the name Koel
none has seen it
neither had any been there
mystery lies in the horizon.

A cottage stood in front
adorned by a small garden
marigold, dahlia, bleeding heart
all in order in that tiny patch.

The man in that cottage
Stayed out from dawn to dusk
the woman cooked for him
when the meal was cold and insipid
he prophesised a curse on her
She in turn ran to the window,
to gape at the patch
marigold that shines, dahlia that dallies
bleeding heart that sobs.

Rarely reasons unknown, she goes near window
then hears the talk passersby do
slowly an awareness stems on her.

Then came the day when masses
laid their dear princess to rest.
On being rue she ran to the window
and stared at the sky.

There she found a shooting star,
a unique sight in the sky
she made two wishes at once
Imagining she to be a star
the earthly woman thus became a bright star
The wishes she made was to guide
her earthling down below
and not his prophesy come true.
