Author's Note

The idea for this story came, full force and fully plotted (a beginning, a middle AND an end!!) in my Geometry class after my being out for two days. We were going over the homework from the previous night, which due to my absence I did not have. As I doodled on the margin of my notebook page, I started to see a fox in the doodle. After adding more details to it, and making it a full-fledged fox, the idea for this popped right into my head.
