Recurring nightmares.

Shadows of the past.

Spent dreams.

Nocturnal emissions.

Petulant, paranoid parties.

Dazed stupors and tantric trances.

Golden parachutes sporting defective ripcords.

Tears on pillows.

Eulogized.

Journeys of the mind and spirit.

Cathartic junkets and eucalyptus wind sprints.

Forced marches and jagged jaunts.

Racing rebellions.

Unreachable finish lines.

Tossing, turning and tripping.

Gasping and wheezing.

Pounding and perspiring.

Wearying.

Relentless.

Inescapable.

Chased by the Devil.

Hot pursuit.

Pressured and squeezed.

Fleeing from the

sick,

twisted,

vicious,

macabre

game of ...

... balls in a vice ...

Powerful Pete, this has such a flow I am left breathless and this resonated with me today. It is sometimes forgotten that we need to accept within this journey called life and not just flow through it with numbness...that is hard and takes work. This piece really sums up how I feel of late, sometimes "life" is too much and yet we surf the wave because the only other option is not an option if we are to grow and learn :)
