Weighed down by our own self-deceit with a Sisyphean task.

How long can it last?

If we hold onto the past,

there is no room in our arms to embrace the present or the future.

We eventually have to either put it down or get bigger arms and I ask you ...

... which is easier to do? ...

We can't allow the past to dominate our lives. We need perspective. We can do nothing to change the past. We can do everything to change the present and the future. The past is water under the bridge, too late to recapture it. That's where your thought provoking lines took me Pete.
