Glory

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? - 1 Corinthians 15:55

Unfelled atop a sick world's gaunt gallows.

Besmirched by hot coals in the battle's furnace.

This life flogs me.

There is no triumph in surrender.
