Ugh I love this! I take this to be a metaphor for how we are imperfect in our relationships and reconciliations, and yet it's that imperfection which makes us human.

Well, we all know kids can be cruel. Actually, though, I don't believe God uses super glue. He simply fixes the miscreant object in his stern cosmic glance and thunders, "Thou shalt not break!" And lo, the damage is undone.
