Couch Potatoe (In His Image)

Couch Potatoe (In His Image)

A Poem by Pete
"

God himself culminates in the present moment, and will never be more divine in the lapse of all the ages. - Thoreau

"

i raised my head with a faithful flair
just to breathe the higher air

low and behold
i caught an unexpected, wondrous glimpse of god
i just froze and couldn't help but stare

like me, he was sitting on the couch with his remote, watching tv

in his underwear
