A Poem by Pete
"

The soul grows by subtraction, not addition. - Thoreau

This Is Why Clouds Are Often Turbulent

caught up in the sandpapered choreography of a loving waltz
a passion of obsession
a spinning, terpischorean  trapse
larger than life
bodies sway and spirits float
arms extend and souls gloat

walking barefoot over hot coals
willing to fill in all the holes
this one god of the sky
this luminous one
who guides you when you propel
his song remains ever the same
writing truth and

erasing shame
