Tondal's Vision by Hieronymus Bosch

you say you know me
you haven't the slightest clue
the only one you really know is jack squat
and that's not saying a lot

put on my tight, worn shoes
try to walk a while
i doubt you'd even make it a handicapped mile

not in this gutless war zone
this polluted mecca
this enclave of self pity
this stinking, sinking city

there isn't even any wood or nails to fashion a cross
but at least i know who's the boss

you can't order him at the drive thru
if you try, please be aware that he comes with a secret sauce

Pete
"It is remarkable that almost all speakers and writers feel it to be incumbent on them, sooner or later, to prove or acknowledge the personality of God. Some Earl of Bridgewater, thinking it better late than never, has provided for it in his will. It is a sad mistake." - Thoreau
