Klaxon

A Poem by Pete
"

"
Premium Vector | Light effect, police siren flashes on a transparent background.

swollen
wailing
slow in pitch
flashing
radiating

heads turn
eyes helter skelter
stomachs churning acid
sick
ill at ease

rivers stop flowing
dammed by condemnation
dubiousness overthrown by the certainty of knowing

we're all guilty

Pete
"It is not worth the while to let our imperfections disturb us always. The conscience really does not, and ought not to monopolize the whole of our lives, any more than the heart or the head. It is as liable to disease as any other part." - Thoreau
