seems like

snow used to be whiter

the sun brighter

eyes wider

a coke sweeter

right was right and wrong was wrong

faith and truth were strong

loyalty and love belonged

selfishness and betrayal weren't part of the song

on skinned knees

prayers were louder and answers came faster

spit went further

blood was deeper red

mum would always tuck me into bed

i was born knowing how to fly a kite

and ride a bike

just sayin'

Seems like....change is inevitable....we see things differently as we become older we become wiser, we've learnt to accept and appreciate how far we have come and what we have now..and to be thankful for our humble beginnings. We have to hold on to those memories of a time that helped shape us into who we are today.
