Leaps And Bounds

Leaps And Bounds

A Poem by Pete
"

We communicate like the burrows of foxes, in silence and darkness, under ground. We are undermined by faith and love. - Thoreau

Image result for thumbing for a ride

innocence squeezes its gentle girth through the eye of a naive needle
goodness is pressed in a greedy vice
evil rubs its scheming hands together and runs
love is wrung out like tears from a sponge
faith looks down and takes the plunge

each gets what it has coming
a free ride
as far as it can get

thumbing

Pete
"We must have infinite faith in each other. If we have not, we must never let it leak out that we have not. Remember that the smallest seed of faith is of more worth than the largest fruit of happiness" - Thoreau
