Going Green

Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends... Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts. - Thoreau

you threw me away
like yesterday's trash
oblivious to endless possibilities of recycling

i'll be back my dear
in a different form
better than ever
never say never

your loss
our pain
my gain

in this overflowing bin of disdain

I love how you use "green" to denote recycling of relationships. I have a brother who married & divorced the same woman twice. It's very tempting to think a "do-over" might turn out better, but I can assure you, it rarely does. This narrator sounds like the kind of guy who might eventually need to be blocked (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Such very sad and hurtful facts, plus, those often juggled to find an appropriate cure. Perhaps. Like good and bad feasts, guess we have to learn not to try exactly the same again? But, on the other hand, explore possibilities, knowing which ingredients you prefer! Again, perhaps.

Video unknown but, will explore!

Yes someone’s trash is another ones treasure. How true with love not having a specific time limit, we go the journey, stop, recover, then jump on another band wagon hoping it will last longer this time. Where once it was for better or for worse now it’s a quickie exit if one hits their first bump in their relationship. I suppose nature recycles all the time like shedding its skin to keep in top shape. Anyway rambling on a bit Pete, nice writing with your usual message swept under the carpet. Love Thoreau! :)
