"If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away." - Thoreau

This is your signature style. This is how I got to know you as a poet. You've neglected this signature style a bit lately, but here it is again, as pumping & raucous as ever! I love when you let 'er rip with snappy rhymes, playing on word sounds left & right, wild excavations from the bonepile of bad fashion, not to mention your ever-ascending rhythmic catapults into insane descriptions using much-missed old idioms that kick a*s while making us feel ancient yet up-to-date! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Another side to your faceted creativity Pete..I could feel the beats pulsating from the page literally as I read this. I love music and dancing......they go hand in hand. They say ...'dance like no one is watching'......I'm dancing right now to KC & the Sunshine Band... minus the bell bottoms...lol! For me music feeds the soul and the rhythm moves the feet.....I don't think there is a day that passes me by that I don't have a little boogie...........my way of keeping fit. It's just as well no one can see me right now.... :)
This is a cool poem highlighting hippies and dancing the night away
