Fact is, we spend much of our lives behind masks and keeping our guard up. Problem is, when we let our guard down, we often allow more than a horrid little bug to get in.
Must say though, 'tis rather nice to people smiling once again.

reminds me of the old horror flick, "Mr. Sardonicus"
ouch....yes, for some, the hiding was better.
it is pretty weird now seeing so many walking around without masks...now we can see expressions again.

it was strange having to wear the masks and now that we've gotten used to them we can take them off .. read moreit was strange having to wear the masks and now that we've gotten used to them we can take them off in certain situations. no one likes wearing them but i'm wondering if they are a mixed blessing in society - kind of like scarlet letters ... :)
