A Thong Can't Be Wrong

A Thong Can't Be Wrong

A Poem by Pete
"

My life is like a stroll upon the beach, as near to the ocean's edge as I can go. - Thoreau

"
some go there to swim
others for the scenery
either way it's hot

Author's Note

Pete
"We often love to think now of the life of men on beaches,--at least in midsummer, when the weather is serene; their sunny lives on the sand, amid the beach-grass and bayberries, their companion a cow, their wealth a jag of driftwood or a few beach plums, and their music the surf and the peep of the beech-bird." - Thoreau

my road is not like yours nor like the road of another person, each one of us has his/her own road and way in and through life, we are not the same, nor it's about right or wrong, what's right for me might be wrong for You, and vice versa, but we all share the same thing, we are all walking under the same sun, in the same life, we are connected even in our different ways. this what I got from reading You here.

What a lovely bit of brevity here Pete and a double helping of heat. I love your Thoreau quote. I found the reference to plums amusing. Then there are the peaches too. Fruits of the beach :)

oh don't we just love the double meaning we can incorporate into our phrasing.
Poets are so lucky...we end up on a beach of verse looking and writing.
