to pay for their next high
the young female addicts in my building try to seduce me

staring into their eyes
i bend down and sigh
kissing them on the forehead
before i turn and walk away

baggage without wheels is heavy
stacked high in a beat up old chevy
along with all that a person can feel

keeping it real
