The stars are the jewels of the night, and perchance surpass anything which day has to show. - Thoreau

10 Hours] Starlit Night Sky - Video & Heavenly Audio [1080HD] SlowTV - YouTube

the black, velvet curtain was drawn on another dicey day
exhausted
i looked uo
i saw a star in the night sky
it wasn't twinkling but i swear it winked
it wasn't the brightest
it was out of bullets so it wasn't shooting
but it was mine
at least for a time

i decided to put it in the pocket of my eyes
it came tied with a slip knot
a way to shine through everything that life begot
it's not always easy finding your way
not in this twisted play
but anyway

i thank god for another tricky day
