gingerly with precision, pushing the tinseled, ribboned garters and g-stringed bow aside

i meticulously unwrap you

revealing a fleshly, folded gift

not a tree anywhere for miles

lots of stars twinkling

lots of elves winking

sweet dreams my darling

merry christmas my tender starling
