Tidal Wave

Tidal Wave

A Poem by Pete
"

You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment. - Thoreau

.A Tidal Wave of Online Art Sales

arms treading a rising swell
tongues entwined like serpentine rope
i kiss your candy apple, painted lips
gazing into the dark, stormy eye liner of demarcation
mascara dripping with skin's humidity
tracing the outline of indecent, thonged sex
below the equator
a fractional enigma
me the numerator with you the dominator

i'm a jellyfish
a lowly animal
dragged by an undertow of passion and lust
hauled by a passing gale's formidable gust
caught in a fishnet

awash in a tidal wave of encompassing sweat
