Pray without ceasing (part two) �

lightning throbbed
thunder ricocheted
a tempest coalesced
rain tattooed a culpable ground
as if heaven spilled buckets of needled ink

thusly the storm continued its rage
i dampened my opposing thumb and intermittent forefinger

turning yet another unprofitable, indignant page
