Rain DanceA Poem by PeteA single gentle rain makes the grass many shades greener. - Thoreauprayers scorched faith singed a feast of evil binged souls on fire situation dire everyone and everything thirsty, parched with emptiness and pain pouring out gasoline to erase a stain tell me where is humility lain cry me a river weep me a stream lengthen my scars and deepen my dream love me today hate me tomorrow use your forked tongue and what's left of your heart to beg or borrow erase the sorrow walk straight with a crooked cane forsake yesterday's disdain tell me where do lies live and deceptions feign sun is black moon is red the sea of eternity is unwalkable and dead angels bowling fishermen trolling thunder flashing highways crashing clouds gather choices would but rather drops and drums pop don't look back else the choreography will stop let it commence twirl it to begin waltzing to what is right and forsaking sin nothing to lose nothing to gain tell me tell me where went the rain © 2022 PeteAuthor's Note
