Born AgainA Poem by PeteIt's only by forgetting yourself that you draw near to God. - Thoreauprone in a lions den prostate in the belly of a fish standing at attention in a fiery furnace staggering under a blazing desert sun but my baggage doesn't fit it is knocked down from my shoulders by the top of that door as I force my way in saying to myself, "to hell with it" as i continue moving forward weight lighter future brighter faith so much tighter no longer a need to doubt only a profound need to quietly shout mattering not where i've been born again .
